Nothing on the Site is, or is intended to be:
- Legal advice

Federal cannabis policy is unsettled, evolving, and subject to litigation and administrative change. Information that is accurate on the date of publication may become inaccurate as a result of subsequent regulatory action, court decisions, or agency guidance. We are not obligated to update the Site to reflect every change. Always confirm the current state of the law with a qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, and the selection, arrangement, and design of the Site — is owned by or licensed to [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]] and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print individual pages of the Site for your own non-commercial reference. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance, requires our express written permission.
The CannabisFiling.com name, logo, and any product or service names appearing on the Site are trademarks of [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]] or its licensors. Nothing on the Site grants any license or right to use any trademark without prior written permission.
5. Submissions
If you submit information through the contact form or otherwise communicate with us through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that information for the purposes of operating the Site, responding to your inquiry, providing referrals, and improving our services. You represent that you have the right to provide the information you submit and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
Do not submit confidential information through the Site. The contact form is not a secure channel and we do not treat information submitted through it as confidential or privileged.
6. Third-party content and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including federal and state agency websites, news articles, and other resources. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website. Your use of any third-party website is subject to its own terms and policies.
References on the Site to specific third-party services, providers, products, or organizations do not constitute endorsement or recommendation unless expressly stated.
7. Referrals to professional service providers
We may, at our discretion, refer users who submit the contact form to third-party professional service providers, including attorneys, accountants, and compliance consultants. A referral is not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee. We do not control the conduct, advice, or services of any third-party provider, and we are not responsible for any act, omission, fee dispute, or outcome of the engagement between you and any provider to whom we refer you.
You are responsible for evaluating any provider to whom you are referred, for entering into your own engagement on terms you negotiate directly with the provider, and for the conduct of that engagement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]], its officers, directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including without limitation damages for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site, the content on the Site, or any action taken in reliance on information published on the Site, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total cumulative liability of [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]] to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site, regardless of the form of action, will not exceed one hundred dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]], its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or regulation, or your violation of the rights of any third party.
10. Federal cannabis status
Cannabis is, in many of its forms, a controlled substance under federal law. The April 23, 2026 rescheduling order moved certain narrow categories of cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III; other forms of cannabis remain in Schedule I. Federal law continues to apply to cannabis activity in all states regardless of state law authorization, and the federal status of cannabis is the subject of ongoing administrative proceedings and litigation that may change the law as published on the Site at any time.
Nothing on the Site is intended to encourage, facilitate, or assist any violation of federal or state law. Information published on the Site about federal regulatory pathways is intended for state-licensed operators evaluating their compliance with federal law and is not a guide to operating outside any applicable legal framework.
11. Termination and changes to the Site
We may, at any time and without notice, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Site, with or without cause. We may also remove, modify, or update any content on the Site at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may terminate your access to the Site at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of these Terms indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [[GOVERNING_STATE]], without regard to its conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [[GOVERNING_COUNTY]], [[GOVERNING_STATE]], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Any cause of action arising out of or relating to the Site must be commenced within one year after the cause of action accrues, or be permanently barred.
14. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and [[ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME]] regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements between you and us relating to the subject matter.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision. No waiver of any term of these Terms will be deemed a continuing waiver of that term or any other term.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
The Site is operated from the United States. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use in any other location.
